In 1999, Kampala University established its Main Campus on the Shores of Lake Victoria at Ggaba, Kawuku Lane, Kampala District about 7 kilometres from the city centre. The campus prides on its unique Film School, Industrial Arts and Design programs, Mass Commination program that hosts Radio FM 99.2, the Business School, as well as the school of Education.
