Kampala University signs an MoU with the Yunus Centre
Grameen Bank Tower, Dhaka Bangladesh to establish a Yunus Social Business Centre at Kamapala University. The KU – YSBC will support our Innovations, Students’ projects and Strengthen cooperation between us and the other 136 global Universities in the Social Business Eco – system.
At the signing Ceremony held at Tangaza University College, Nairobi Kenya, Kampala University was represented by Prof. Marcelin Kitambala, the Vice Chancellor of our Sister University – The East African Univerty, Kitengela Kenya among other Staff members while The Yunus Centre was repsented by Prof. Muhammad Yunus himself, The Brainchild behind Social Businesses, The Yunus Centre & Grameen Bank, Lamiya Morshed, the Executive Director of the Yunus Centre, Shihab Qader, the head of International Projects YC and Shazeeb M Khairul Islam the Managing Director of YY Ventures. This MoU will go a long way in encouraging social business incubations and generating ideas based on the 3 Zero principle
