Ms. Brenda Kintu Nakirya

Brenda Nakirya Kintu is an experienced academic and IT professional currently serving as a Lecturer and Head of Department for Computer Science and Information Technology at Kampala University, Uganda. She is also an Associate Consultant at the Uganda Management Institute, where she lectures postgraduate students in various Information Technology disciplines.

She holds a Master of Science in Business Information Systems (Distinction) from the University of East London, a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Makerere University, and a Diploma in ICT from Uganda Management Institute. Brenda is currently pursuing a PhD and has presented research at both local and international conferences, with published work on secure e-voting systems.

With over a decade of experience in academia and research, her expertise spans software engineering, data management, systems analysis, AI, and ICT pedagogy. She is a curriculum developer, research supervisor, and a committed educator passionate about improving legal and ICT education in Uganda.
