Bunthecup Brings KU Students and Administrators Together For An Evening of Connection, Inspiration and Fun

Kampala, Uganda | 1 October 2026

Kampala University (KU) Ggaba Campus came alive on Thursday, 1 October 2026, as students and university administrators gathered for BuntheCup, an engaging social and interactive event organised by the Office of the Dean of Students to promote unity, dialogue, friendship and a strong sense of community within the University.

Held at the Main Campus from 5:00 p.m., the event provided a relaxed and vibrant platform where students and administrators interacted beyond the formal university environment. Participants came together with their cups, voices and positive energy, creating an atmosphere of openness, fellowship and shared experiences.

The event featured tea and bites, music, inspirational talks and interactive engagements, giving students an opportunity to freely express their views, share ideas and connect with university leaders and fellow students.

BuntheCup also provided an opportunity for students to engage administrators in a more informal setting, encouraging communication and strengthening relationships across the University community. The initiative reflected the University's commitment to creating a supportive environment in which students feel heard, valued and connected.

Through the different activities, participants enjoyed moments of entertainment while also receiving inspirational messages and guidance aimed at encouraging positive student engagement, personal development and responsible participation in university life.

The BuntheCup gathering concluded on a high note, with students and administrators celebrating the KU spirit of togetherness and community. The event reinforced the message that university life extends beyond classrooms and lectures, with meaningful relationships, dialogue and shared experiences also playing an important role in shaping the student experience.
