Kampala University Extends Unbeaten Run In Corporate League
Kampala University’s staff football team remains unbeaten in this year’s Corporate League after recording two victories and a draw, making an encouraging start to a competition that promotes unity and togetherness among corporate organisations and participating teams.
Captained by Mr. Ronald Kamoga, the KU team opened its campaign with a commanding 3–0 victory over Nawongo Oldies before securing a hard-fought 1–0 win against the Kibuli Secondary School teachers’ team.

The University side subsequently faced the Lawyers’ Select Team on 4 October 2026 at the International University of East Africa (IUEA), where the encounter ended in a draw. The result extended KU’s unbeaten run to three matches as the team looks ahead to further fixtures.
Corporate League matches are generally played during weekends at Buziga Islamic Theological Institute playground, providing participants with an opportunity to interact beyond their workplaces, build friendships and strengthen teamwork through sport.
For Kampala University, participation gives staff members a platform to stay active, strengthen working relationships and represent the institution within the wider corporate community. The competition also creates opportunities for networking and shared recreation.
With two wins and a draw secured, the KU team will be seeking to maintain its momentum and extend its unbeaten record while contributing to the league’s spirit of unity and togetherness.
