Modernity focused on cultural exchange, allowing designers to blend influences from different parts of the world into contemporary designs.
The Eco-Fashion category promoted sustainable and environmentally friendly approaches through the use of recycled and organic materials, while Inclusive Fashion celebrated diversity and individuality by encouraging designs that embraced different sizes, shapes and identities.

The Urban Vs Ghetto category explored contrasting fashion expressions associated with urban and ghetto lifestyles, incorporating streetwear, athleisure and bold accessories. Color Your World challenged student designers to move beyond conventional textiles by creating their own custom fabrics and developing distinctive creative concepts.
The event also offered participants an important opportunity to network, learn from other designers and gain insights into the practical demands of the fashion industry. Participating institutions were supported through professional model coaching and preparations ahead of the challenge.
