Kampala University Luweero Campus Hosts 2025 Cultural Gala: A Celebration of Heritage and Unity

Kampala University is set to host its annual Cultural Gala from October 16th to 18th, 2025, at the university’s Luweero Campus. This year’s theme, "Rooted in Heritage, Reaching for Tomorrow," emphasizes the rich cultural diversity of the university’s five campuses. i.e Ggaba Main Campus, Masaka Campus,  Mutundwe, Jinja and Luweero.

Students will showcase a vibrant array of cultural dances, folk songs, poetry, and the university anthem, reflecting their unique backgrounds and heritage.

The event will also feature a modeling session, where students will display various styles, from cultural attire , casual wear,  office wear,  dinner wear to creative wear.
 
Prizes will be awarded to standout models and the best student associations.
The  founding Vice Chancellor, Ambassador Al-haj Prof. Badru D. Kateregga, will grace the event as the Chief Guest on the final day, adding prestige to the celebrations. 

The gala promises a feast of entertainment, music, and community engagement, and the university invites the public to join in this grand cultural fest.
