KAMPALA, 21st May 2025 — Jubilation filled the air at Kati Kati Restaurant in Kampala as Wanume Gilbert, a standout player from Kampala University, walked away with two prestigious awards after the 12th edition of the Pepsi University Football League. Gilbert was crowned both the top scorer and all-star player, marking a significant achievement in his university football career.
The awards ceremony was graced by the university sports tutor, Ms. Martha Soigi, along with sports officials from various universities across the country.
