Kampala University Takes Inspiration And Career Guidance To UACE Candidates Across Uganda

Kampala, Uganda | 8th October 2026

As thousands of Senior Six candidates across Uganda prepare to begin their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations, Kampala University has intensified its nationwide school outreach programme, taking inspiration, career guidance and university information directly to candidates in different parts of the country.

A team from the Kampala University Marketing Department and is currently visiting secondary schools across Uganda, engaging Senior Six candidates in interactive sessions aimed at preparing them not only for their forthcoming examinations, but also for the important transition from secondary school to higher education and professional life.

The candidates are scheduled to sit for their first UACE examination paper on 6 November 2026, marking the beginning of a significant milestone in their academic journey.

During the school engagements, candidates have been encouraged to approach their examinations with hard work, discipline, commitment, confidence and a positive attitude. They have also been reminded of the importance of respecting and trusting their teachers and schools, maintaining good character, and remaining God-fearing as they pursue their academic aspirations.

Beyond examination preparation, the Kampala University team is guiding candidates on life after Senior Six, emphasising the importance of making informed decisions when choosing academic programmes and universities. Candidates are being encouraged to consider their interests, abilities, career aspirations and the opportunities available within their chosen fields before making their final choices.

The outreach sessions also provide candidates with information about Kampala University's academic programmes, career opportunities, tuition requirements, admissions processes and the various opportunities available to students at the University.

As the candidates prepare to embark on their UACE examinations, Kampala University wishes all Senior Six candidates across Uganda success, confidence and excellent results.
