Kampala University Triumphs Over Mountains of the Moon: 3-1 Victory Secures Continued Dominance in PEPSI League
In a commanding performance, Kampala University secured a 3-1 victory against Mountains of the Moon University in the PEPSI University Football League.
The match, held on Monday at FortPortal, saw the Kateregga Boys assert their dominance early on.
Kiweewa Raymond put Kampala University ahead in the 4th minute, followed by Wannume Gilbert’s strike in the 78th minute and Kimera Joseph’s goal in the 86th minute. Mountains of the Moon managed a late consolation goal in the 89th minute, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the result.
The victorious team, which arrived in Fort Portal the day before, showcased excellent preparation and teamwork.
Under the guidance of head coach Mr. Tumusiime Vincent, also known as "Manager Titi," with the technical support of the sports Director Mr. Faizo Mubiru and sports tutor Ms. Martha Siogi, Kampala University once again proved its ability in the league.
This victory highlights another step forward in Kampala University’s continued success in the PEPSI University Football League, reinforcing their reputation as a sports giant in the region.
