The Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology is a three-year full-time degree programme designed to equip students with technical skills and knowledge in both Computer Science and Information Technology. The programme provides expertise required for various fields, including education, industry, and IT professional services.
Objectives
- To equip students with technical knowledge required for an IT professional to handle multi-tasking and multi-programming environments.
- To provide knowledge in developing application programmes tailored to the dynamic business world.
- To impart theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to understand and design complex computer applications.
- To enlighten students with ethical and logical aspects related to computing.

Entry Requirements
- Direct Entry: Two principal passes at A’ Level, including a principal pass in Mathematics or Computer Studies.
- Diploma Entry: A relevant diploma from a recognized institution with a credit or its equivalent.
- Mature Age Entry: Candidates must be at least 25 years old and have passed a mature age examination from an NCHE-recognized center.
- Higher Education Certificate (HEC): A relevant HEC accredited by NCHE with a distinction or credit.
