Overview

The Bachelor of Procurement and Supply Chain Management degree is a three-year program of full-time study. The program provides procurement, logistics, and supply chain education based on integrity and good values, producing honest, innovative, and self-reliant individuals. The curriculum covers procurement laws, supply chain strategies, supplier performance monitoring, and risk management.

Objectives

  • To develop procurement professionals with strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Uganda’s procurement laws and processes.
  • To enable students to develop and execute supply chain strategies within organizations.
  • To equip students with skills to monitor supplier performance and identify procurement risks.
  • To train professionals with integrity and ethical values in procurement and supply chain management.

Entry Requirements

  • Direct Entry: Two principal passes at A’ Level, including subjects in Economics, Arts, Entrepreneurship, or Natural Sciences.
  • Diploma Entry: A relevant diploma from a recognized institution with a credit or its equivalent.
  • Mature Age Entry: Candidates must be at least 25 years old and have passed a mature age examination from an NCHE-recognized center.
  • Higher Education Certificate (HEC): A relevant HEC accredited by NCHE with a distinction or credit.
